NEBOSH International Diploma
Who Should Study This Course?
The NEBOSH Diploma is the qualification of choice for health and safety professionals. It is a prestigious and demanding course which is ideal for those seeking to further their career in occupational health and safety practice.
There are no course entry requirements but students must be fluent in English as the examinations are set in English and must be answered in English. We also strongly recommend that students should consider taking the International Certificate (or its equivalent) before undertaking the International Diploma.
Unlike the National Diploma, this course focuses on local legal requirements and incorporates international standards and management systems (such as ILO Codes of Practice). As a result it is more suitable for candidates studying outside the United Kingdom. To view the full course syllabus click here.
Professional Membership
Candidates who pass the International Diploma meet the academic requirements for Membership (Grad IOSH) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, and Membership (MIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management, subject to meeting the post-qualification experience requirements.

International Diploma Syllabus
To achieve the NEBOSH International Diploma, you will need to successfully complete the four compulsory units (Unit IA: 'International Management of Health and Safety' (incorporating Core Skills), Unit IB: 'International Control of Hazardous Agents in the Workplace', Unit IC: 'International Workplace and Work Equipment Safety' and Unit ID: 'International Application of Health and Safety Theory and Practice'.
