International General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
Who Should Study This Course?
This qualification is suitable for any individual seeking a broad knowledge and understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practice. It is also suitable for those starting a career as a safety professional, providing a sound basis for progression onto the International Diploma.
There are no course entry requirements but students must be fluent in English as the examinations are set in English and must be answered in English.
The qualification (unlike the equivalent National General Certificate) focuses on local legal requirements incorporating international standards and management systems (such as ILO Codes of Practice), making it more suitable for candidates studying outside the United Kingdom. Professional Membership
Candidates who pass the IGC meet the academic requirements for Technician Membership (Tech IOSH) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and Associate Membership (AIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.

Block Classroom Course
This is an intensive study method designed for students seeking a fast and effective means of obtaining their qualification. It is led by RRC's expert tutors and provides an interactive and disciplined environment that consistently achieves excellent results well above the NEBOSH centre average.
