CIEH Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice 

The CIEH Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice is ideal for those interested in becoming a trainer, or those who currently are trainers but want the opportunity to refresh their teaching skills and gain a recognised qualification. It covers the key skills required to be an effective and successful trainer, including planning and preparation, training delivery, assessment and evaluation.

The CIEH Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice is an essential qualification for anyone wishing to become a CIEH-registered trainer or to update and refresh their training skills and practice.

You can study the CIEH Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice by attending a classroom course in Bahrain, Dubai or London. If you have a group that needs training, then we can also arrange to deliver the course at your company premises.

Course Content

The CIEH Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice covers:

  • Understanding the role and responsibilities of the trainer.
  • Understanding the appropriate training and learning approaches in a specialist area.
  • Demonstrating session planning skills.
  • Understanding how to deliver inclusive sessions that motivate learners.
  • Understanding the use of different assessment methods and the need for record keeping.

 

Assessment

The CIEH Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice is assessed by an assignment (a short micro-teaching session) which will take place at the end of the training.

Successful delegates are awarded a CIEH certificate.
