Exemptions

IGC1 is the core unit for all of the NEBOSH National Health and Safety Certificates, so to gain a NEBOSH Certificate you need to study IGC1 along with the relevant specialist unit and practical assessment.

If you have been awarded a NEBOSH International Certificate in the last 5 years and wish to take another, you will be exempt from IGC1 and can simply 'top up' with the specialist unit and practical assessment to achieve the new award.

Assessment

Units IGC1 and IFC1 of the NEBOSH Fire Certificate are each assessed by one two-hour written examination. Unit IFC2 is assessed by a practical assessment carried out in your own workplace.

RRC Middle East offer exams in Bahrain and Dubai. If you are looking to take exams elsewhere, RRC UK can arrange for exams to be taken in over 80 countries worldwide. See here for information on RRC UK's NEBOSH Certificate courses.

All of our courses contain plenty of exam practice to ensure you are fully prepared for the exam. Many of our trainers are also NEBOSH examiners, so they're well placed to provide advice and guidance throughout your course.
