RRC Short Courses - Fire Safety

Essentials of Fire Risk Assessment

A comprehensive review of how to undertake fire risk assessments and how to identify appropriate preventive and protective fire safety measures, means of escape, fire detection and suppression systems. Examples will be taken from a range of industries.

Basic Fire Fighting

Available in both Arabic and English, this course looks at: the basic principles of fire; the risks it presents in the workplace and the main measures that should be taken to minimise those risks; the considered measures for the prevention and control of fire and for the safe evacuation of premises.

On completion of this course, student should understand:
